Identification Badges
Your Johns Hopkins ID badge will be used for access at Johns Hopkins at Keswick location. You will be given an HID Microprox sticker (example attached) which will be attached to the bottom of your existing JED Card. Be sure not to cover the magnetic strip when attaching your Microprox sticker.
To obtain your HID Microprox sticker the Access-Parking form must be filled out and signed by a Department Manager prior to Transwestern approving the form.
When an employee is terminated, it is the responisbility of Johns Hopkins to contact Transwestern / Silver Star Security to terminate the access on the HID Microprox sticker. The HID Microprox sticker is then removed from the security system, No longer allowing access to the Johns Hopkins at Keswick Campus.
If your JED Card is lost please contact the Facilities Management Office and replacement HID Microprox sticker will be issued. A replacement fee of $5.00 will be required. Please fill out Access/Parking Form by selecting the appropriate box and contact the Facilities Management Office for your replacement chip.
